Product Review: Chocolate Croissants

Chocolate Croissants

I’m definitely years late to this game, but these chocolate croissants! I usually only shop the frozen and snack sections of Trader Joes. Last night, as I was casually browsing in my two favorite aisles, I saw these frozen croissants and remembered reading good things about them. I was a little skeptical, but I also love breakfasts that involve fresh pastry and coffee, so I figured I would give them a try. Evan and Shannon agree- they’re pretty awesome!

They do require a little planning- the instructions require that you leave them overnight on a cookie sheet to let them rise, then bake for about 30 minutes. As long as you think about it before you go to bed, though, they’re incredibly simple. For anyone having overnight guests or planning a brunch, these are a cinch and relatively easy {I think only $3 or $4 for four of them?}. I think they’re also  kind of fancy, especially when you sprinkle some powdered sugar over them- unless you guys have a fancier Sunday morning situation that me. Overall, I highly recommend…and these might need to make a regular appearance at our house.
